First time at this Belk because we are from out of town. Shopped around about 2 hours bought some boots and the shoe department sales representative was very nice.

Horrible experience with “Lorry” at the Lancôme make up counter. Very rude and rushed us through our purchase. Sold Estée Lauder and tried to get us to buy EL products instead of Lancôme. Bad customer service and no people skills.

The crazy thing was why, with all the stuff stacked around that register things to actually be purchased was removed?

We weren't gone 10 minutes and all the stuff we had planned to bu was gone.

I went in 9 days before Christmas to do some buying, not browsing. I had a list: a cashmere sweater for my husband, new Clinique products as my skin has changed. I won't go back. I saw an impulse item on a table with others. It looked underpriced, so I looked around. NONE OF THE BOXES had prices on them. Next. It took three people to tell me there were no cashmere sweaters. Last, but best was the Clinique counter. No one could tell me the difference between two similar products. Okay. An older woman my age, showed me some possibly appropriate products. I tried two and wanted to try the pump version of the second. She flat out REFUSED to even let me TRY it, much less give me a sample! I was also in the market for a replacement for a Clarisonic that died, another $100+ item I might have bought from Clinique. I went in with a budget of $500. I came out with nothing because of terrible retailing practices: no prices, no seasonal standard male gift, and a woman who refused to let me have a speck of a product from a tester.

We went to see if we could find nursing bras but nobody was in that department to ask so we went to get out things and check out.

Thank you for that Foothills Mall hospitality.

Oh well.

As we went on with a arm load of things to buy we ask on of the check out sales representatives if we could lay our stuff down while we went over to look at bras and she said yes.

Ok, well we wasted over 2 hours but that probably saved up $500 plus.

We ask the lady and she said we had someone return it to the rack.

This place is amazing! I got all I need and all my discounts! The employees were fantastic and very helpful with all my questions. All these past people who posted here have no idea what they are talking about. Maybe; don't be rude in the first place.

Sometimes it's a pleasant experience other times the cashiers can be rude.
