A bit disappointed. I took my 5 year old cat in for a routine check, vaccination and claw trimming. The vet seemed knowledgeable and wanted to answer my questions. However, she, and especially the assistant, spent almost no time helping my cat relax before they began. They almost immediately began trying to hold down the cat to administer the vaccination. The cat resisted, making the experience difficult for everyone. The vet's exam was very brief and cursory. Dr. Davies is listed as the "cat doctor" on the website. I expected better service from her than was received.
My regular vet couldn't do the emergency surgery, my dog needed. I was really worried she wasn't going to make it. Luckily I took her here. Not only did they do the emergency surgery,the staff was awesome,the price was reasonable for what they had to do. Thanks doctor West! Freckles is doing so much better!
Although the building is a little cramped, they are really big on pet care. Every one is very friendly and sensitive to the pets need.
I have never loved a Vet as much as Dr. Archer & the entire staff @ Chillhowee Vet Clinic. The care for my Vada is over the top. Im in & out on Saturdays & they're prices are amazing. Every question is over the top answered! Thank you Dr. Archer for everything & all the loving to Vada! Happy Thanksgiving Chillhowee Veterinarian Clinic!
